Tips for Successfully Participating in the “Misiones Ciencia e Innovación 2026” Call for Proposals

The Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA), with the support of the i2CAT Research Center, is organizing an informational webinar on Friday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. to share the strategic keys to the new Misiones Ciencia e Innovación 2026 funding call. During the session, attendees will receive an introduction to the call and an analysis of the key elements for preparing a winning proposal.
 

The webinar is especially aimed at Catalan SMEs, providing practical advice to increase success rates and improve the competitiveness of applications. It will also serve as a networking opportunity to foster collaboration among DCA members and identify potential partners for consortium-based projects.

About the Misiones Ciencia e Innovación 2026 Call
 

Its main objective is to fund R&D&I projects that propose solutions to cross-cutting and strategic societal challenges.
 

For the 2026 edition, the selected missions are:
 

• Development of a stable, flexible, and resilient energy system with robust and reliable networks.
• Toward a more efficient, sustainable, and resilient aeronautics sector.
• New scientific capabilities to combat multidrug-resistant microorganisms and other future challenges.
• New capabilities to advance strategic autonomy in security and defense.
• Women’s health within the framework of biomedical research focused on conditions with a greater impact on women.
• Food sovereignty in Spain: a sector focused on efficiency, quality, sustainability, and food security.
• Accessible, sustainable, and rapidly deployable housing through industrialized and digitalized construction.
