The digital transformation of the aerospace, defense, and advanced technology sectors increasingly demands professionals capable of responding to complex cybersecurity challenges. To address this, the European project CyberPro Train, funded by the Digital Europe Programme, is launching its first training module aimed at professionals in SMEs and public institutions. 

CyberPro Train aims to close the cybersecurity talent gap across the European Union through an innovative, scalable, and accessible education model, tailored to the real needs of industry. It aligns with key EU directives such as NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act, which are particularly relevant to critical sectors like aerospace and defense. 

Starting on September 2025, the synchronous and asynchronous courses will cover both foundational and advanced cybersecurity concepts, with a focus on critical infrastructure protection, compliance, and risk management. 

These courses are part of a broader training program that will soon include intensive bootcamps, and on-the-job training experiences with leading cybersecurity companies, designed to support practical learning and long-term skill development. 

All training is free, offered in multiple EU languages, and designed for professionals already active in strategic sectors, as well as for traditional industries seeking to pivot and strengthen their digital resilience.
