Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, alongside
Defense Minister Margarita Robles and
Digital Transformation Minister Óscar López, held a meeting with
key cybersecurity companies as part of the government’s broader plan to enhance Spain’s digital defense capabilities in the context of increased military spending.
During the meeting, the opportunities offered by the
new budgetary framework to boost innovation in digital security were discussed, as well as the need to
integrate the talent and experience of the Spanish technology ecosystem into the country's strategic planning. Companies such as
S2 Grupo, Nunsys, TRC, Evolutio, Red Points, CounterCraft, Sofistic Cybersecurity, and Innovasur actively participated in the discussion.
This initiative aims not only to adapt Spain's military structure to new challenges but also to foster a competitive and strategic cybersecurity industry that aligns with national and European priorities in security and technological sovereignty.
