Space Research and Innovation Day in Catalonia

On 19 February 2026, the Space Research and Innovation Day will be held in Barcelona at the Palau de Pedralbes starting at 9:00 a.m., with institutional invitation from the Minister for Research and Universities. The event aims to highlight the potential and diversity of research, knowledge transfer and business activity related to space sciences in Catalonia.
 

The session seeks to identify and showcase research groups, scientific infrastructures, emerging spin-offs and established companies active in the space sector, while fostering connections among the different agents across the value chain. Throughout the day, academic and industrial initiatives will be presented, along with representative success stories from the Catalan ecosystem.
 

The event is organised by the Department of Research and Universities and the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC), with the collaboration of the Department of Business and Labour.
