The city of Seville will host the third edition of Zero Debris Week from September 8 to 11, 2026. The event is organized by the Agencia Espacial Española (AEE) with the support of the Agencia Espacial Europea. The gathering will bring together experts, institutional representatives, industry leaders, and researchers to address one of the major challenges facing the space sector: advancing toward the goal of zero space debris generation by 2030.
The Zero Debris initiative aims to promote a safer and more sustainable space environment through international cooperation and the development of regulatory, technological, and industrial solutions.
Zero Debris Week 2026 will be structured around two main events. The first is the 3rd Zero Debris Future Symposium (September 8–9), aimed at decision-makers and specialists in regulatory, legal, and space policy matters. Sessions will focus on the future of the Zero Debris community and new policy-oriented working groups.
The second component will be the Zero Debris Technical Sessions (September 9–11), designed for technical experts, operators, researchers, and innovators. These sessions will feature new technologies, technical prioritization activities, collaborative discussions on White Papers, and B2B meetings to foster new partnerships within the space ecosystem.
In addition to the professional sessions, the week will include social activities and networking opportunities aimed at strengthening collaboration among organizations and professionals committed to space sustainability.
Organizers have noted that attendance will be limited and registrations will be moderated to ensure a diverse and specialized international representation.
The event will take place at the CREA Building, headquarters of the AEE in Seville. The registration deadline is July 1, 2026, and separate registration will be required for the Future Symposium and the Technical Sessions.
