From September 29 to October 2, AeroS was one of the invited partners at the sixth edition of BNEW—Barcelona New Economy Week, one of the leading international events on innovation, business, and emerging economies.
As part of BNEW Aviation, AeroS took part in the round table discussion entitled “Two-Faced Technology: The Duality of the Aerospace Sector in the New Economy.” Moderated by Antoni Paz, executive director of the KIMbcn Foundation and technical secretary of AeroS Ecosystem, the round table brought together leading professionals from the aerospace ecosystem, such as Jordi Ribatllada, director of Business Development and Innovation at Artificial Group; Albert Sitja, advisor to Mecanitzats Privat; and Sandra Mingot, head of EU Special Programs and Defense at SENER.
During the session, the speakers offered a strategic vision and an in-depth look into the future, addressing key issues such as the use of dual technologies, ethical and regulatory challenges, and Europe's role in the new global context. Likewise, the participants emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration among companies, technology centers, universities, and public institutions as an essential element in driving innovation and competitiveness in the sector.
