Law 10/2025 on customer service: implications for the air sector

The Institute of Economic Studies (IEE) has released its January Journal, which analyses Spain’s security and defence industry in a geopolitical environment shaped by the war in Ukraine and Europe’s renewed focus on defence and strategic autonomy.

The report outlines the main challenges facing the sector, including the modernisation of industrial capabilities, external dependencies and access to finance, while highlighting its growing role in economic development, skilled employment and technological innovation.

It also stresses the importance of turning increased defence spending into a long-term industrial strategy aligned with European priorities and focused on innovation and cooperation.
