The RunSpace Innovation Challenge 2026 is open to startups, companies, professionals, and students, who may submit their proposals until June 30, 2026. The competition covers areas such as satellite manufacturing and services, launch, and ground equipment, and includes a special challenge sponsored by ispace inc. to design an innovative lunar micro-mission.
Prizes reach 350,000 New Taiwan dollars (approx. €10,000) for first place, along with specialized mentorship and a visit to the company’s headquarters in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, the TAcc+ SpaceTech 2026 program offers early-stage tech startups (less than ten years old) a one-month immersion in Taiwan’s industrial ecosystem, with access to networks, supply chains, and international scaling support. The application deadline is May 15, 2026.
Selected startups may also receive travel support of up to 2,500 US dollars (approx. €2,300), among other benefits.
Both initiatives reinforce Taiwan’s role as an international hub for the development of the space industry and its connection to the Asia-Pacific market.
