EU consultation on dual-use items: share your input by 6 October

AeroS would like to gather your input to prepare a joint response to the European Commission’s consultation on the evaluation of Regulation (EU) 2021/821 on dual-use items, which covers goods, software and technologies with both civilian and military applications.

This is an opportunity to communicate the sector’s needs and suggest improvements based on your experience. We are particularly interested in hearing about:

• Practical difficulties with export procedures and controls.

• Administrative burdens you consider excessive.

• Aspects of the regulation that create doubts or uncertainty.

• Suggestions for simplification and improvement.

Please send your comments to msitja@aeros-ecosystem.com by 6 October, inclusive. A brief contribution is sufficient, ideally including a concrete example illustrating the issue and your proposed improvement.

We will use the contributions received to develop a position that reflects the needs of AeroS members.
