ACCIÓ, the Catalan Government’s Agency for Business Competitiveness, is organising the “Dual Technology & Industry Readiness Programme”, a training event aimed at SMEs interested in entering the security and defence market through dual-use technologies, provided they do not belong to the automotive, aerospace, machinery or metallurgy sectors.
The event will take place on 8 June, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in person in Auditori MGS (Entença 335), with the collaboration of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, the Ministry of Defence, the Secretariat for Digital Policies and AeroS.
During the session, experts and institutional representatives — including Neus Olea, Director of AeroS — will present the sector’s key requirements and regulatory frameworks, as well as business opportunities and available funding mechanisms for companies seeking to operate in this strategic field.
In addition, participating companies will have the opportunity to obtain a certificate of completion, demonstrating their readiness to enter the security and defence market.
Available places have been increased due to high demand. However, places remain limited, so early registration is strongly recommended. More information and registration here.
