On Thursday, 19 February, the Fòrum Empresarial del Llobregat will host a breakfast meeting with Francesc Torres, Rector of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) AeroS partner. The event will focus on the role of the university as a key player in talent generation, knowledge transfer and its connection with the productive sector.
The session will address university–industry collaboration in areas such as applied research, technological innovation and the development of joint projects, as well as the impact of technologies such as artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0 and cybersecurity on business competitiveness. A strategic vision will also be shared on how to strengthen cooperation between universities, companies and public administrations to address talent-related challenges.
Within the framework of the meeting, the new collaboration agreement between AEBALL and UPC will be presented, aimed at connecting university talent with the industrial needs of Baix Llobregat and L’Hospitalet, boosting innovation and promoting lifelong learning. The breakfast will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hotel Porta Fira Santos, in a face-to-face format.
