AeroS present at the sectoral conference on industrial participation in Special Modernisation Programmes

Representatives and companies linked to the AeroS ecosystem attended the sectoral conference “Industrial Participation Plans in Special Modernisation Programmes”, organised by the Deputy Directorate General for Defence Industrial Strategy of the Directorate General for Strategy and Innovation of the Defence Industry (DIGEID), under the Spanish Secretariat of State for Defence.
 

Held at the Army War and Leadership School in Madrid, the event brought together public administration, industry representatives and stakeholders from the Defence Industrial and Technological Base to discuss the role of Industrial Participation Plans within Special Modernisation Programmes, as well as the strategic opportunities emerging for the industrial and technological ecosystem.
 

The presence of entities and companies connected to the AeroS ecosystem provided an opportunity to closely follow the strategic priorities and industrial participation mechanisms that are expected to shape part of the future evolution of the defence sector in Spain and Europe, in a context increasingly focused on strengthening industrial capabilities, dual-use technologies and European strategic autonomy.
 

These types of initiatives also contribute to strengthening the connection between the Catalan aerospace and technological ecosystem and new strategic programmes related to defence, industrial innovation and advanced technological capabilities.
