AeroS has announced the appointment of Montse Sitjà as the organisation’s new cluster manager. Her arrival marks the beginning of a new strategic phase aimed at strengthening the value offered to members, driving the association’s growth and fostering business connections.
In her new role, Sitjà will lead the implementation of the AeroS Strategic Plan, working in coordination with the General Secretariat, Technical Secretariat, Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Her priorities will include consolidating and expanding the membership base, energising the ecosystem and strengthening the services available to member companies and organisations, such as participation in trade fairs, international missions, and access to funding opportunities and regional, national and European programmes.
The new cluster manager will also be responsible for driving collaborative flagship projects, promoting members’ active participation in the Industry, Talent and Strategic Projects committees and the Defence Task Force, and facilitating the creation of consortia and partnerships between companies, technology centres, institutions and public authorities.
Her appointment will also help raise the profile of Catalonia’s business and technology capabilities and consolidate the region’s position as a competitive, leading ecosystem in the aeronautics, space, defence and dual-use technology sectors.
